Illinois High School Basketball - Calhoun nips Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia
January 31, 2023: Hardin, IL 62047 Calhoun Warriors (Hardin, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia Trojans (Concord, IL), 46-44 in a league bout.
With the win, Calhoun upgrades its record to 8-16 on the season. The Warriors host Staunton (Staunton, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 9-13. Staunton won 71-26 in their recent non-league bout against Mt. Olive (Mt. Olive, IL)
Next up, the Trojans play the North Greene Spartans (White Hall, IL) in a Western Illinois Valley bout, on Tuesday, February 7. Triopia/Meredosia-Chambersburg/Virginia will attempt to upgrade on its 15-12 season record.
