Georgia High School Basketball - Lakeview Academy overwhelms Cross Keys
January 31, 2023: Gainesville, GA 30501 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Lakeview Academy Lions (Gainesville, GA) and the visiting Cross Keys Indians (Atlanta, GA), saw Lakeview Academy's basketball squad wallop Cross Keys by a count of 101-27.
With the victory, Lakeview Academy upgrades its record to 11-11 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Riverside Military Academy (Gainesville, GA) to play the Eagles in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 4 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 7-12. Riverside Military Academy lost 67-61 in their recent league challenge against Bethlehem Christian Academy (Bethlehem, GA)
Next up, the Indians play the Furtah Prep Falcons (Acworth, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Cross Keys will attempt to upgrade on its 5-12 season record. The Falcons come into the challenge with a 19-3 record after their 71-34 league win over Brandon Hall (Atlanta, GA).
