The Tri County Area Vikings basketball team (Howard City, MI), was routed 65-39 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Hastings Saxons (Hastings, MI)

The Saxons now sport a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lumen Christi Catholic for a Interstate Eight battle on Friday, February 3. Hastings will battle a Titans team coming off a 68-25 non-league win over Whitmore Lake (Whitmore Lake, MI). The Titans record now stands at 10-4.

The Vikings (5-8) will now prepare for their battle against Reed City (Reed City, MI). The Coyotes come into the Central State - Gold battle with a 8-6 record. In their last battle, Reed City trounced Manistee (Manistee, MI), 59-44, in a non-league battle.
