Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Nemaha Central Thunder (Seneca, KS) and the visiting Hiawatha Red Hawks (Hiawatha, KS), saw Nemaha Central's basketball squad overcome Hiawatha by a tally of 49-30.

With the victory, Nemaha Central improves its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Thunder host Holton (Holton, KS) to confront the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Friday, February 3. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 8-6. Holton lost 62-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Royal Valley (Hoyt, KS)

Next up, the Red Hawks confront the Perry-Lecompton Kaws (Perry, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Hiawatha will attempt to improve on its 3-11 season record. The Kaws come into the challenge with a 11-3 record after their 62-26 non-league win over Jefferson West (Meriden, KS).
