California High School Basketball - Pomona fells La Puente
January 31, 2023: Pomona, CA 91767 Pomona Red Devils (Pomona, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting La Puente Warriors (La Puente, CA), 52-42 in a league bout.
With the win, Pomona upgrades its record to 13-12 on the season. The Red Devils host Edgewood (West Covina, CA) to play the Lions in a Miramonte bout on Thursday, February 2. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 19-6. Edgewood won 68-50 in their recent league bout against Bassett (La Puente, CA)
Next up, the Warriors play the Garey Vikings (Pomona, CA) in a Miramonte bout, on Thursday, February 2. La Puente will attempt to upgrade on its 5-19 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 11-9 record after their 63-19 league win over Ganesha (Pomona, CA).
