The Louisa County Lions basketball team (Mineral, VA), was overwhelmed 72-29 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA)

The Warriors now possess a 16-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Albemarle for a Jefferson battle on Friday, February 3. Western Albemarle will confront a Patriots team coming off a 105-38 league win over Goochland (Goochland, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 17-2.

The Lions (2-16) will now prepare for their battle against Fluvanna County (Palmyra, VA). The Flying Flucos come into the Jefferson battle with a 14-5 record. In their last battle, Fluvanna County was overwhelmed by Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA), 66-42, in a non-league battle.
