Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the North Tahoe Lakers (Tahoe City, CA) and the visiting Sparks Railroaders (Sparks, NV), saw North Tahoe's basketball squad overcome Sparks by a tally of 67-58.

With the victory, North Tahoe improves its record to 8-5 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Battle Mountain (Battle Mountain, NV) to confront the Longhorns in a 2A Northern challenge on Friday, February 3. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Battle Mountain won 53-46 in their recent league challenge against Yerington (Yerington, NV)

Next up, the Railroaders confront the Hug Hawks (Reno, NV) in a 3A Northern - West challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Sparks will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 1-19 record after their 46-38 league loss to Truckee (Truckee, CA).
