Social Circle Redskins (Social Circle, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Oglethorpe County Patriots (Lexington, GA), 52-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Social Circle upgrades its record to 12-9 on the campaign. The Redskins travel to Jasper County (Monticello, GA) to play the Hurricanes in a A D1 Region 5 bout on Friday, February 3. The Hurricanes come into the bout with a record of 8-12. Jasper County lost 53-28 in their recent league bout against Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA)

Next up, the Patriots play the Prince Avenue Christian Wolverines (Athens, GA) in a A D1 Region 5 bout, on Friday, February 3. Oglethorpe County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-11 season record.
