Oregon High School Basketball - Powers holds off Pacific
January 31, 2023: Powers, OR 97466 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Powers Cruisers (Powers, OR) and the visiting Pacific (Port Orford, OR), saw Powers's basketball squad hold off Pacific by a tally of 39-34.
With the victory, Powers improves its record to 4-11 on the campaign. The Cruisers travel to Yoncalla (Yoncalla, OR) to confront the Eagles in a 1A Skyline challenge on Friday, February 3. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Yoncalla lost 64-39 in their recent league challenge against Elkton (Elkton, OR)
Next up, the confront the Glendale Pirates (Glendale, OR) in a 1A Skyline challenge, on Friday, February 3. Pacific will attempt to improve on its 2-14 season record. The Pirates come into the challenge with a 0-16 record after their 69-22 league loss to Days Creek (Days Creek, OR).
