Louisiana High School Basketball - St. Joseph's - Plaucheville can't hold off Plainview
January 31, 2023: Plaucheville, LA 71362 The Plainview Hornets basketball team scored 59 points and held the host St. Joseph's - Plaucheville Eagles to 54 in the Hornets league triumph on Tuesday.
The Hornets now sport a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Reeves for a C District 5 contest on Friday, February 3. Plainview will battle a Raiders team coming off a 71-30 non-league win over Oak Hill (Hineston, LA). The Raiders record now stands at 12-14.
The Eagles (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Fairview (Grant, LA). The Panthers enter the C District 5 contest with a 26-5 record. In their last contest, Fairview nudged Northside Christian (Crowley, LA), 81-67, in a league contest.
