Nevada High School Basketball - Round Mountain holds off Tonopah

January 31, 2023: Round Mountain, NV 89045

Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Round Mountain Knights (Round Mountain, NV) and the visiting Tonopah Muckers (Tonopah, NV), saw Round Mountain's basketball squad hold off Tonopah by a tally of 49-43.

With the victory, Round Mountain improves its record to 10-7 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Pahranagat Valley (Alamo, NV) to confront the Panthers in a 1A Central challenge on Friday, February 3. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 5-15. Pahranagat Valley won 42-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Beaver Dam (Littlefield, AZ)

Next up, the Muckers confront the Mineral County Serpents (Hawthorne, NV) in a 1A Central challenge, on Friday, February 3. Tonopah will attempt to improve on its 6-7 season record. The Serpents come into the challenge with a 17-3 record after their 59-52 league win over Round Mountain (Round Mountain, NV).
