Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Scranton Prep overwhelms Western Wayne
January 31, 2023: Lake Ariel, PA 18436 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Scranton Prep Cavaliers (Scranton, PA) and the host Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA), saw Scranton Prep's basketball squad wallop Western Wayne by a tally of 67-30.
With the victory, Scranton Prep improves its record to 11-7 on the campaign. The Cavaliers travel to Scranton (Scranton, PA) to play the Knights in a Lackawanna 1 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 6-10. Scranton lost 62-53 in their recent league challenge against West Scranton (Scranton, PA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the North Pocono Trojans (Covington Township, PA) in a Lackawanna 2 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Western Wayne will attempt to improve on its 0-15 season record. The Trojans come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 65-49 league loss to Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA).
