Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Tunkhannock crushes Western Wayne
December 6, 2022: Tunkhannock, PA 18657 Tunkhannock Tigers (Tunkhannock, PA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Western Wayne Wildcats (Lake Ariel, PA), 62-32 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Tunkhannock upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 8. The Comets come into the bout with a record of 1-0. Abington Heights won 76-32 in their recent non-league bout against Wyoming Seminary College Prep (Kingston, PA)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Lakeland Chiefs (Jermyn, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 9. Western Wayne will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Chiefs come into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 64-62 non-league win over Wallenpaupack Area (Hawley, PA).
