Tennessee High School Basketball - University topples Unaka
January 31, 2023: Johnson City, TN 37614 In Tuesday's league outing, the University Buccaneers (Johnson City, TN) basketball squad beat the visiting Unaka Rangers (Elizabethton, TN), by a margin of 64-56.
The Buccaneers (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against Hampton (Hampton, TN). The Bulldogs go into the 1A District 1 outing with a 18-5 record. In their last outing, Hampton defeated Unaka (Elizabethton, TN), 81-60, in a league outing.
The Rangers now own a 3-15 record. They play next when they host Cloudland for a 1A District 1 outing on Friday, February 3. Unaka will clash with a Highlanders squad coming off a 57-42 league loss to North Greene (Greeneville, TN). The Highlanders record now stands at 4-12.
