Illinois High School Basketball - West Aurora tipped by Yorkville
January 31, 2023: Aurora, IL 60506 In Tuesday's league challenge, the visiting Yorkville Foxes basketball squad scored a close 56-51 victory over the West Aurora Blackhawks.
With the victory, Yorkville improves its record to 22-4 on the campaign. The Foxes host Oswego East (Oswego, IL) to confront the Wolves in a SouthWest Prairie challenge on Friday, February 3. The Wolves come into the challenge with a record of 21-5. Oswego East won 62-39 in their recent league challenge against Minooka (Minooka, IL)
Next up, the Blackhawks confront the Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL) in a SouthWest Prairie challenge, on Friday, February 3. West Aurora will attempt to improve on its 15-13 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 12-14 record after their 56-52 league win over Plainfield North (Plainfield, IL).
