Tennessee High School Basketball - Huntingdon overwhelms Clarksburg
January 31, 2023: Clarksburg, TN 38324 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Huntingdon Mustangs (Huntingdon, TN) and the host Clarksburg Rockets (Clarksburg, TN), saw Huntingdon's basketball squad wallop Clarksburg by a tally of 78-30.
With the victory, Huntingdon improves its record to 16-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Milan (Milan, TN) to play the Bulldogs in a 2A District 12 challenge on Friday, February 3. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Milan lost 67-35 in their recent non-league challenge against Union City (Union City, TN)
Next up, the Rockets play the Hughes Lions (Clifton, TN) in a 1A District 12 challenge, on Friday, February 3. Clarksburg will attempt to improve on its 3-13 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 0-14 record after their 51-41 league loss to Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central (Bruceton, TN).
