Manheim Central Barons (Manheim, PA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA), 53-49 in a league bout.

With the win, Manheim Central upgrades its record to 12-3 on the season.

Next up, the Mountaineers clash with the Lampeter-Strasburg Pioneers (Lampeter, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 2. Ephrata will attempt to upgrade on its 13-5 season record.
