Illinois High School Basketball - Lincoln-Way West crushes Kankakee
January 31, 2023: New Lenox, IL 60451 Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Kankakee Kays (Kankakee, IL), 69-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lincoln-Way West upgrades its record to 20-8 on the season. The Warriors travel to Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL) to play the Boilermakers in a SouthWest Suburban - Red bout on Thursday, February 2. The Boilermakers go into the bout with a record of 10-15. Bradley-Bourbonnais lost 50-25 in their recent league bout against Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL)
Next up, the Kays play the Crete-Monee Warriors (Crete, IL) in a Southland bout, on Thursday, February 2. Kankakee will attempt to upgrade on its 11-17 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 11-14 record after their 48-24 league win over Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL).
