January 31, 2023: Sparta, MI 49345 The Kent City Eagles (Kent City, MI) basketball crushed the host Sparta Spartans (Sparta, MI), 55-33 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Eagles (13-3) will now prepare for their test against Chippewa Hills (Remus, MI). The Warriors go into the Central State test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Chippewa Hills was trounced by Ravenna (Ravenna, MI), 31-28, in a non-league test.
The Spartans now own a 3-11 record. They play next when they travel to Hopkins for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Sparta will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 32-25 non-league loss to Allendale (Allendale, MI). The Vikings record now stands at 11-4.
