Ohio High School Basketball - Lowellville crushes McDonald

Lowellville Rockets (Lowellville, OH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH), 49-27 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lowellville upgrades its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to McKinley (Sebring, OH) to play the Trojans in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout on Thursday, February 2. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 2-13. McKinley lost 55-15 in their recent league bout against Mineral Ridge (Mineral Ridge, OH)

Next up, the Blue Devils play the Western Reserve Blue Devils (Berlin Center, OH) in a Mahoning Valley - Scarlet bout, on Thursday, February 2. McDonald will attempt to upgrade on its 6-11 season record. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 34-19 league loss to Springfield (New Middletown, OH).
