Connecticut High School Basketball - Ridgefield holds off McMahon
January 31, 2023: Norwalk, CT 06854 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Ridgefield Tigers (Ridgefield, CT) and the host McMahon Senators (Norwalk, CT), saw Ridgefield's basketball squad hold off McMahon by a tally of 45-43.
With the victory, Ridgefield improves its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Farmington (Farmington, CT) to confront the River Hawks in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, February 1. The River Hawks come into the challenge with a record of 5-10. Farmington won 49-45 in their recent league challenge against Northwest Catholic (West Hartford, CT)
Next up, the Senators confront the Staples Wreckers (Westport, CT) in a Fairfield County challenge, on Friday, February 3. McMahon will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Wreckers come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 56-20 league win over Wilton (Wilton, CT).
