New Jersey High School Basketball - Woodstown tops Penns Grove
January 31, 2023: Carneys Point, NJ 08069 Woodstown Wolverines (Woodstown, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Penns Grove Red Devils (Carneys Point, NJ), 50-33 in a league bout.
With the victory, Woodstown upgrades its record to 11-5 on the campaign. The Wolverines host Pennsville Memorial (Pennsville, NJ) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 2. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 7-7. Pennsville Memorial won 46-23 in their recent non-league bout against Schalick (Pittsgrove, NJ)
Next up, the Red Devils play the Overbrook Rams (Pine Hill, NJ) in a Tri-County - Diamond bout, on Thursday, February 2. Penns Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Rams come into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 41-27 non-league loss to Clayton (Clayton, NJ).
