Maine High School Basketball - Seacoast Christian overwhelms Temple Academy
January 31, 2023: South Berwick, ME 03908 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Seacoast Christian Guardians (South Berwick, ME) and the visiting Temple Academy Bereans (Waterville, ME), saw Seacoast Christian's basketball squad wallop Temple Academy by a tally of 49-22.
With the victory, Seacoast Christian improves its record to 6-10 on the campaign. The Guardians travel to Pine Tree Academy (Freeport, ME) to confront the Breakers in a D South challenge on Saturday, February 4. The Breakers come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Pine Tree Academy lost 52-24 in their recent league challenge against Forest Hills (Jackman, ME)
Next up, the Bereans confront the Vinalhaven Vikings (Vinalhaven, ME) in a D South challenge, on Wednesday, February 1. Temple Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-12 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 4-8 record after their 73-9 league loss to Valley (Bingham, ME).
