Georgia High School Basketball - Spencer crushes Southwest

January 31, 2023: Columbus, GA 31903

Spencer Greenwave (Columbus, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA), 58-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Spencer upgrades its record to 12-8 on the season. The Greenwave travel to Northeast (Macon, GA) to clash with the Raiders in a AA Region 2 bout on Friday, February 3. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Northeast won 77-17 in their recent league bout against Kendrick (Columbus, GA)

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Kendrick Cherokees (Columbus, GA) in a AA Region 2 bout, on Friday, February 3. Southwest will attempt to upgrade on its 7-13 season record. The Cherokees go into the bout with a 3-18 record after their 77-17 league loss to Northeast (Macon, GA).
