The Pioneers now possess a 17-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orem for a battle on Friday, February 3. Lehi will confront a Tigers team coming off a 32-14 league loss to Lehi (Lehi, UT). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.
First Quarter
Brynlee Cook and Kaleigh Freeman made three-point baskets in the first quarter. The score going into the second quarter is 8-1 in favor of Lehi. Watching this quarter was painful as nothing much happened.
Second Quarter
Lehi scored 7 points and Alta scored 6 in the second quarter. It was almost as hard to watch as the first period. The score going into the second half is Lehi 15 and Alta 14.
Third Quarter
Ellie Hill made 3 three-pointers to start the second half and Brynlee Cook added another. Lehi scored 13 points in the quarter and Alta had 4. The score going into the fourth quarter is 28 to 11 in favor of the Pioneers.
Fourth Quarter
Lehi outscored Alta 11 to 9 in the final quarter. Ava Makin hit a three for Lehi in the period. The final score is Lehi 39 and Alta 20. Both Ellie Hill and Brynlee Cook scored 10 points to lead the PIoneers.
