California High School Basketball - La Quinta tops Bolsa Grande
January 31, 2023: Garden Grove, CA 92844 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the La Quinta Aztecs (Westminster, CA) and the host Bolsa Grande Matadors (Garden Grove, CA), saw La Quinta's basketball squad knock off Bolsa Grande by a tally of 34-15.
With the victory, La Quinta improves its record to 10-8 on the campaign. The Aztecs host Los Amigos (Fountain Valley, CA) to play the Lobos in a challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Lobos come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Los Amigos won 44-19 in their recent league challenge against Bolsa Grande (Garden Grove, CA)
Next up, the Matadors play the Loara Saxons (Anaheim, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Bolsa Grande will attempt to improve on its 5-13 season record. The Saxons come into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 38-21 league win over Rancho Alamitos (Garden Grove, CA).
