California High School Basketball - Live Oak holds off Del Mar
January 31, 2023: San Jose, CA 95128 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Live Oak Acorns (Morgan Hill, CA) and the host Del Mar Dons (San Jose, CA), saw Live Oak's basketball squad hold off Del Mar by a tally of 24-21.
With the victory, Live Oak improves its record to 3-4 on the campaign. The Acorns host Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA) to confront the Cardinals in a challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 0-9. Mt. Pleasant lost 47-30 in their recent league challenge against Gilroy (Gilroy, CA)
Next up, the Dons confront the Yerba Buena Aztec Warriors (San Jose, CA) in a challenge, on Thursday, February 2. Del Mar will attempt to improve on its 4-10 season record. The Aztec Warriors come into the challenge with a 3-5 record after their 38-26 league win over Mt. Pleasant (San Jose, CA).
