Colorado High School Basketball - Sterling tops Valley
January 31, 2023: Sterling, CO 80751 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Sterling Tigers (Sterling, CO) and the visiting Valley Vikings (Gilcrest, CO), saw Sterling's basketball squad knock off Valley by a tally of 39-28.
With the victory, Sterling improves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Eaton (Eaton, CO) to play the Reds in a challenge on Thursday, February 2. The Reds come into the challenge with a record of 8-4. Eaton lost 53-52 in their recent league challenge against Berthoud (Berthoud, CO)
Next up, the Vikings play the Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, February 11. Valley will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
