North Carolina High School Basketball - Langtree Charter overwhelmed by Christ the King
January 31, 2023: Mooresville, NC 28117 The Langtree Charter Lions basketball team (Mooresville, NC), was overwhelmed 80-34 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Christ the King Crusaders (Huntersville, NC)
The Crusaders now possess a 10-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine Lake Prep for a non-league battle on Friday, February 3. Christ the King will battle a Pride team coming off a 44-43 league win over Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC). The Pride record now stands at 13-8.
The Lions (0-16) will now prepare for their battle against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC). The Raptor come into the non-league battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Mountain Island Charter trounced Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC), 65-35, in a non-league battle.
