Virginia High School Basketball - Meridian overwhelms Warren County
January 31, 2023: Falls Church, VA 22043 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Meridian Mustangs (Falls Church, VA) and the visiting Warren County Wildcats (Front Royal, VA), saw Meridian's basketball squad wallop Warren County by a tally of 47-24.
With the victory, Meridian improves its record to 6-7 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Manassas Park (Manassas Park, VA) to confront the Cougars in a challenge on Friday, February 3. The Cougars come into the challenge with a record of 0-8. Manassas Park lost 47-39 in their recent non-league challenge against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA)
Next up, the Wildcats confront the Brentsville District Tigers (Nokesville, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 3. Warren County will attempt to improve on its 6-11 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-11 record after their 79-26 non-league loss to Skyline (Front Royal, VA).
