Maryland High School Basketball - Westlake winner over Northern
January 31, 2024: Waldorf, MD 20603 The Westlake Wolverines (Waldorf, MD) basketball felled the visiting Northern Patriots (Owings, MD), 61-46 in Wednesday's league test.
The Wolverines (6-9) will now prepare for their test against Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD). The Cavaliers go into the Southern Maryland test with a 2-15 record.
The Patriots now own a 8-5 record. They play next when they host Thomas Stone for a Southern Maryland test on Friday, February 2. Northern will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 59-46 league win over Lackey (Indian Head, MD). The Cougars record now stands at 9-6.
