The Oilers (29-4) will now prepare for their test against Dawson (Pearland, TX). The Eagles go into the 6A Region III District 23 test with a 25-7 record. In their last test, Dawson walloped Alief Taylor (Houston, TX), 52-50, in a league test.
The Yellowjackets now own a 11-23 record. They play next when they travel to Shadow Creek for a 6A Region III District 23 test on Saturday, February 3. Alvin will encounter a Sharks squad coming off a 57-52 league win over Alief Elsik (Houston, TX). The Sharks record now stands at 19-12.
