The Bishop McNamara Mustangs basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Paul VI Panthers to 43 in the Mustangs league triumph on Wednesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 19-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop O'Connell for a Washington Catholic contest on Tuesday, February 6. Bishop McNamara will battle a Knights team coming off a 68-47 league loss to Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Knights record now stands at 11-9.
The Panthers (11-10) will now prepare for their contest against The Academy of the Holy Cross (Kensington, MD). The Tartans enter the Washington Catholic contest with a 10-11 record. In their last contest, The Academy of the Holy Cross was defeated by Elizabeth Seton (Bladensburg, MD), 58-15, in a league contest.
