Florida High School Basketball - Mitchell can't hold off Cypress Creek

The Cypress Creek Coyotes basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the host Mitchell Mustangs to 64 in the Coyotes non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Coyotes now sport a 10-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Anclote for a non-league match on Thursday, February 1. Cypress Creek will meet a Sharks team coming off a 56-11 non-league loss to Zephyrhills (Zephyrhills, FL). The Sharks record now stands at 3-13.

With the defeat, Mitchell moves to 15-9 on the year. The Mustangs travel to Hernando Christian Academy (Brooksville, FL) to meet the Lions in a non-league match on Friday, February 2. The Lions enter the match with a record of 8-12. Hernando Christian Academy lost 34-28 in their recent non-league match against Lakeside Christian (Clearwater, FL)
