January 31, 2024: Farmingdale, NJ 07727 The Donovan Catholic Griffins basketball team (Toms River, NJ), was overwhelmed 56-24 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Howell Rebels (Farmingdale, NJ)
The Rebels now possess a 12-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Manalapan for a Shore A - North battle on Friday, February 2. Howell will confront a Braves team coming off a 50-42 league loss to Marlboro (Marlboro, NJ). The Braves record now stands at 3-14.
The Griffins (5-12) will now prepare for their battle against Lakewood (Lakewood, NJ). The Piners come into the Shore B - South battle with a 3-11 record. In their last battle, Lakewood was overwhelmed by Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ), 46-12, in a non-league battle.
