Michigan High School Basketball - Pentwater tops Walkerville
January 31, 2024: Pentwater, MI 49449 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Pentwater Falcons (Pentwater, MI) and the visiting Walkerville Wildcats (Walkerville, MI), saw Pentwater's basketball squad knock off Walkerville by a tally of 38-20.
With the victory, Pentwater improves its record to 7-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Brethren (Brethren, MI) to play the Bobcats in a West Michigan D challenge on Friday, February 2. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 9-3. Brethren won 76-25 in their recent league challenge against Mesick (Mesick, MI)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Marion Eagles (Marion, MI) in a West Michigan D challenge, on Friday, February 2. Walkerville will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 38-21 non-league loss to Grand Traverse Academy (Traverse City, MI).
