North Carolina High School Basketball - Jordan-Matthews ripped by Bartlett Yancey
January 31, 2024: Yanceyville, NC 27379 The Bartlett Yancey Buccaneers basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Jordan-Matthews Jets to 20 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Buccaneers now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Moore for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Bartlett Yancey will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 61-53 non-league loss to Jordan-Matthews (Siler City, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-8.
The Jets (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC). The Stallions enter the non-league contest with a 10-6 record. In their last contest, Southeast Alamance was routed by Western Alamance (Elon, NC), 46-34, in a non-league contest.
