Virginia High School Basketball - Bland County fells Hurley
January 31, 2024: Rocky Gap, VA 24366 Bland County Bears (Rocky Gap, VA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Hurley Rebels (Hurley, VA), 35-17 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bland County upgrades its record to 2-10 on the season. The Bears travel to Craig County (New Castle, VA) to play the Rockets in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 3. The Rockets go into the bout with a record of 2-12. Craig County lost 60-29 in their recent non-league bout against Parry McCluer (Buena Vista, VA)
Next up, the Rebels play the Grundy Golden Wave (Grundy, VA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Hurley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record.
