The Hoquiam Grizzlies basketball team scored 49 points and held the visiting Ocosta Wildcats to 46 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Grizzlies now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Montesano for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Hoquiam will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 36-32 non-league loss to North Beach (Ocean Shores, WA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-2.
