The Alma Cardinals (Alma, NE) basketball toppled the visiting Bertrand Vikings (Bertrand, NE), 54-38 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Cardinals now possess a 16-2 record. They play next when they travel to Dundy County-Stratton for a non-league bout on Saturday, February 1. Alma will play a Tigers team coming off a 48-37 non-league win over Paxton (Paxton, NE). The Tigers record now stands at 14-3.
