Louisiana High School Basketball - South Beauregard can't hold off Anacoco
January 31, 2025: Anacoco, LA 71403 Anacoco Indians (Anacoco, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting South Beauregard Knights (Longville, LA), 47-42 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Anacoco upgrades its record to 20-19 on the year. The Indians travel to Pitkin (Pitkin, LA) to face the Tigers in a B District 4 match on Tuesday, February 4. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 21-9. Pitkin won 83-65 in their recent non-league match against Reeves (Reeves, LA)
The Knights now sport a 12-23 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jennings for a 3A District 3 match on Tuesday, February 4. South Beauregard will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 72-57 league loss to Lake Charles College Prep (Lake Charles, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-14.
