Maryland High School Basketball - Annapolis Area Christian nips St. John's Catholic Prep
January 31, 2025: Severn, MD 21401 In Friday's non-league contest, the host Annapolis Area Christian Eagles basketball team scored a close 75-72 triumph over the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings.
The Eagles (13-6) will now prepare for their contest against St. Mary's (Annapolis, MD). The Saints go into the MIAA B - Black contest with a 13-10 record. In their last contest, St. Mary's nipped Concordia Prep (Towson, MD), 63-55, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Vikings battle the Chapelgate Christian Academy Yellowjackets (Marriottsville, MD) in a MIAA B - Red contest, on Wednesday, February 5. St. John's Catholic Prep will attempt to better on its 6-12 season record. The Yellowjackets go into the contest with a 8-16 record after their 46-34 league loss to St. Paul's (Brooklandville, MD).
