February 13, 2025: Severn, MD 21401 The crowd at Thursday's league challenge between the Annapolis Area Christian Eagles (Severn, MD) and the visiting Archbishop Curley Friars (Baltimore, MD), observed Annapolis Area Christian's basketball team edge Archbishop Curley by a score of 49-45.
The Eagles (17-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Severn School (Severna Park, MD). The Admirals come into the MIAA B - Black challenge with a 17-5 record. In their last challenge, Severn School edged Indian Creek (Crownsville, MD), 65-51, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Friars battle the Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 28. Archbishop Curley will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record. The Gaels come into the challenge with a 15-12 record after their 72-52 non-league loss to St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD).
