Ohio High School Basketball - Arcadia bested by Riverdale
January 31, 2025: Arcadia, OH 44804 Riverdale Falcons (Mt. Blanchard, OH) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Arcadia Redskins (Arcadia, OH), 48-37 in a league match.
With the victory, Riverdale advances its record to 10-9 on the year. The Falcons host Liberty-Benton (Findlay, OH) to face the Eagles in a Blanchard Valley match on Friday, February 7. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 17-1. Liberty-Benton won 56-47 in their recent non-league match against Defiance (Defiance, OH)
The Redskins now own a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hopewell-Loudon for a non-league match on Saturday, February 1. Arcadia will face a Chieftains squad coming off a 59-38 league loss to Calvert (Tiffin, OH). The Chieftains record now stands at 5-9.
