Ohio High School Basketball - Riverdale holds off Carey
December 2, 2024: Carey, OH 43316 The Riverdale Falcons basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Carey Blue Devils to 43 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Monday.
The Falcons now possess a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Leipsic for a Blanchard Valley game on Friday, December 6. Riverdale will confront a Vikings team coming off a 65-33 non-league win over Cory-Rawson (Rawson, OH). The Vikings record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Carey falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Liberty-Benton (Findlay, OH) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, December 7.
