Missouri High School Basketball - Aurora overwhelms McDonald County
January 31, 2025: Aurora, MO 65605 The Aurora Houn Dawgs basketball team scored 85 points and limited the visiting McDonald County Mustangs to 61 in the Houn Dawgs league triumph on Friday.
The Houn Dawgs now possess a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Lamar for a Big 8 game on Tuesday, February 4. Aurora will confront a Tigers team coming off a 90-77 league win over Cassville (Cassville, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 5-4.
With the loss, McDonald County falls to 2-8 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, MO) to confront the Mountaineers in a Big 8 game on Tuesday, February 4.
