Tennessee High School Basketball - Battle Ground Academy can't hold off University School of Nashville
January 31, 2025: Nashville, TN 37212 University School of Nashville Tigers (Nashville, TN) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Battle Ground Academy Wildcats (Franklin, TN), 63-60 in a league match.
With the victory, University School of Nashville upgrades its record to 10-10 on the year. The Tigers host The Webb School (Bell Buckle, TN) to face the Feet in a Division II-A Middle District 3 match on Saturday, February 1. The Feet enter the match with a record of 15-6. The Webb School won 54-53 in their recent league match against Battle Ground Academy (Franklin, TN)
The Wildcats now sport a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Middle Tennessee Christian for a Division II-A Middle District 3 match on Tuesday, February 4. Battle Ground Academy will face a Cougars squad coming off a 84-44 league loss to Providence Christian Academy (Murfreesboro, TN). The Cougars record now stands at 2-18.
