Michigan High School Basketball - Carney-Nadeau overwhelms Mid Peninsula
January 31, 2025: Carney, MI 49812 The Carney-Nadeau Wolves basketball team scored 75 points and limited the visiting Mid Peninsula Wolverines to 40 in the Wolves league triumph on Friday.
The Wolves now have a 6-11 record. They play next when they travel to Norway for a non-league game on Tuesday, February 4. Carney-Nadeau will confront a Knights team coming off a 65-64 non-league win over Stephenson (Stephenson, MI). The Knights record now stands at 12-4.
With the loss, Mid Peninsula falls to 0-11 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to North Central (Powers, MI) to confront the Jets in a Central Upper Peninsula game on Tuesday, February 4. The Jets go into the game with a record of 8-8. North Central lost 75-27 in their recent league game against Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI)
