Tennessee High School Basketball - Clinton overwhelms Cumberland Gap
January 31, 2025: Cumberland Gap, TN 37724 The Clinton Dragons basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Cumberland Gap Panthers to 36 in the Dragons league triumph on Friday.
The Dragons now possess a 14-10 record. They play next when they host Gibbs for a 3A District 4 game on Tuesday, February 4. Clinton will confront a Eagles team coming off a 63-56 league win over Scott (Huntsville, TN). The Eagles record now stands at 11-13.
With the loss, Cumberland Gap falls to 11-13 on the campaign. The Panthers host Twin Springs (Nickelsville, VA) to confront the Titans in a non-league game on Saturday, February 1. The Titans go into the game with a record of 9-6. Twin Springs won 46-36 in their recent non-league game against Hurley (Hurley, VA)
