California High School Basketball - Los Molinos thwarts CORE Butte
January 31, 2025: Chico, CA 95928 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Los Molinos Bulldogs (Los Molinos, CA) and the host CORE Butte Lynx (Chico, CA), observed Los Molinos's basketball team knock off CORE Butte by a score of 49-38.
The Bulldogs (7-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Redding Christian (Palo Cedro, CA). The Lions come into the Five Star challenge with a 21-3 record. In their last challenge, Redding Christian prevailed over Red Bluff (Red Bluff, CA), 44-33, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lynx encounter the Chester Volcanoes (Chester, CA) in a Five Star challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. CORE Butte will attempt to improve on its 1-15 season record. The Volcanoes come into the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 52-33 league win over Burney (Burney, CA).
